Tayisha McGuire was the recipient of the CLD Minority Achievement Award for Arts/Music/Theater at The 28th Annual Minority Business & Professional Achievers Recognition  Awards Dinner that was held last evening at the Sagamore Ballroom with the theme “Honoring Exellence…In Life’s Work and Service to Community”. Soror McGuire is an accomplished opera singer who sings with the Indianapolis Opera. She has performed nationally & internationally. She was recommended for this award by our chapter and nominated by Soror Adrienne Preddie. She is truly a stellar example of the myriad of talent that the women of Delta Sigma Theta embody.  Congratulations Soror McGuire!
