Political Awareness and Involvement
Social Action Committee
This committee planned a successful voter registration, empowerment and education program entitled V.I.C.T.O.R.Y. 2008 (Voting Is Critical To Our Reality this Year), as well as a Women’s Empowerment Forum in conjunction with Coburn Place. Social Action also helps to plan Delta Day at the State Capital, as well as send representatives to Washington, D.C. for Delta’s annual legislative conference Delta Days in the Nation’s Capital.
